SSW #013: Agden/Damflask Figure 8

When: Saturday 11th October 2025, 1100-1400ish
- Start/end point: Low Bradfield (meeting point on Eventbrite). Low Bradfield is served by the 61 and 62 bus routes.
- Distance: 10km.
- Terrain: some sections on road, mostly footpaths and pavements.
We’ll start the soundwalk at Low Bradfield, first heading up and around Agden Reservoir, having a little nose around Agden Bog while we’re there, and then down to Damflask Reservoir. We’ll finish back in Low Bradfield where there’s the option for a pint at The Bradfield Plough after we’ve had our sharing/debrief.
This is a longer, medium-paced walk for adults only with a couple of short stopping points - we’ll be aiming to walk mostly in silence. There’ll be chance to pop into a toilet halfway round when we pass back through Low Bradfield before Damflask. Wear weather-appropriate clothing, bring snacks/water, and please also bring something to make listening notes, such as a notebook and pen, or an audio recorder if you have one. I’ll provide printouts for everyone with a map, listening prompts, and some info about the area.
